The Eastern Michigan University football team’s annual spring game is scheduled for Friday, April 15 inside “The Factory” at Rynearson Stadium. The Greens and Whites will enter the pitch with kick-off scheduled for 6:30 p.m.Admission is free and doors open at 5:30 p.m. This will be the first chance for EMU fans to get a glimpse of the Eagles’ improvements under the ninth-year head coach. In addition to the spring game, EMU Athletics is hosting an adidas apparel sale. Fans who wish to purchase certain official EMU gear will have the option to do so at a discounted rate during the Spring Game. Eastern will be giving away excess team apparel, shoes and a limited number of trophy football helmets during the sale. All sales are final with cash or credit cards accepted for payment.
Season ticket holders who have already purchased their seats for the 2022 season will receive many benefits, including early entry into the adidas apparel sale before the general public at 5 p.m. and will also have the opportunity to participate in special promotions on the field during the game. .
Youngsters will also be able to participate in one of Washtenaw County’s largest Easter egg hunts. The free event will feature over 1,000 brightly colored eggs filled with a host of prizes. There will be two configurations for ages 6 and under and ages 7-12 on the stadium grounds.
In addition, food trucks and a children’s play area will also be set up for the enjoyment of fans. After the game, EMU student-athletes will be available for autographs on a commemorative spring game poster.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early and make it a full day of EMU athletics. The baseball team tangle with Ohio University at 2 p.m. inside Oestrike Stadium. Admission is free for all events.
Free parking is available on the grounds of the George Gervin GameAbove Center as well as on the grounds of Rynearson Stadium off Hewitt Road.
Season tickets are on sale ahead of the fall, as fans will have the option to choose their seat inside the stadium. The 2022 ‘fan-friendly’ schedule features six home games, with five to be played before the end of October. Additionally, Eastern will defend the gray turf for four out of six games between September 24 and October 29.
Eastern Michigan continues to offer the Ultimate Fan Season ticket plan for just $144. This package includes a wide backrest with armrests on the 50-yard line as well as VIP season parking. Seat season tickets are $108 and include a seat in reserved sections 104-109.
Reserved season tickets are only $99 (reserved sections 104-109), while general admission season tickets are $75 (sections 110-114 and visitor side).
