The Powerhaus agency will be based in Los Angeles.

Initially focusing on football players, Smith believes the combination of his personal high-level playing experience, business education, wealth management experience and real estate license puts him in a unique position to guide players, not just when they’re playing the game, but for the rest of their lives.

Smith, a Los Angeles resident who served as both a quarterback and wide receiver for the NCAA’s UCLA while also being on the athletic director’s honor roll, launched his own football career at Birmingham High School, a charter high school in Lake Balboa, where he was named an offensive player. of the year.

Similar to unstoppable Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Smith was also a baseball player before focusing on football and caught the eye of local scouts while coaching his local community college team before moving on. go up to the University of California at Los Angeles. The leadership skills required of an agent are nothing new to Smith, who while at Santa Monica Community College not only led his football team to its first undefeated season in 35 years, but also found the time to start “Generation of the Future”, a group of university students focused on organizing educational and fitness events for underprivileged youth from kindergarten through eighth grade.

For this group, the business-minded Smith was savvy enough to strike partnerships with UNICEF, Nike, Domino’s Pizza and the Boys and Girls Club, and was able to increase membership by more than 500% in three months. and the organization’s financial reserves by 300%. before moving to UCLA. To date, Smith remains a consultant with Generation of the Future and has also volunteered with the Westside Children’s Center, Reading to Kids, Special Olympics, and The Midnight Mission shelter for the homeless.

Prior to launching PowerHaus Agency, Smith also had ongoing relationships with Morgan Stanley for wealth management, brokerage firm Compass for real estate investing, his alma maters from UCLA and Pepperdine, and the Sigma Pi fraternity, where Smith was president of his pledge class.
