Ross named DC Touchdown Club Washington Metro College Football Player of the Week honor roll recipient
WASHINGTON DC – Redshirt in second year Jonathan ross from Bowie State University’s football program was named to the DC Touchdown Club Washington Metro College Football Player of the Week Honor Roll, announced Tuesday morning.
The Waldorf, Md., Native had nine tackles (5.5 for a loss) and suffered a sack as the Bulldogs beat Chowan, 14-3, in a top-25 game in the Division. II. Chowan came in averaging 51.4 points per game and 5-0 overall before facing Bowie State.
This praise is the second time Ross has received a nod of the honor roll of the DC Touchdown Club Washington Metro College committee. Additionally, Ross was previously named the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Defensive Lineman of the Week.
