The world’s greatest celebrity football game, soccer aidwill take place in London this summer to raise funds for UNICEF.

What is Football Aid?
The match sees a number of former professional footballers and celebrities take part in an 11-a-side game to raise as much money as possible for UNICEF, the world’s leading charity working to help underprivileged children around the world.
The game pits England against a team representing the rest of the world.
Where and when will Soccer Aid 2022 take place?
For the first time in its 16-year history, this year’s game will take place on the grounds of London Stadium.
Previous Soccer Aid matches have taken place at Old Trafford in Manchester, Wembley Stadium in London, Stamford Bridge in London and the Etihad Stadium in Manchester.
It will take place on Sunday, June 12.
Where is the London stadium?
The London stadium is located in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and enjoys the best transport links in the capital.
It is located in the Lower Lea Valley, 10 km east of central London.
It was built 10 years ago to host the 2012 London Olympics and is now home to Premier League football club West Ham United and UK Athletics.

How many people can the London stadium accommodate and what is the seating plan?
The London stadium can accommodate 60,000 seats when a football match is played or 80,000 seats when hosting a concert.
There are 428 wheelchair viewing areas, as well as hospitality lounges and executive boxes that can accommodate a total of 3,600 people.
The stadium has four major areas; east, north, west and south – and in each of these areas there are six sections.
These sections are labeled as categories one through five, then premium seats. There is also an additional reception area.

Ticket prices in the premium seating area are more expensive as they offer the best view of the pitch, dropping down to ticket prices for category five seats.
